COMPANY INFORMATION:
Bio-Care Technology was formed in 1988 from the merger of Gary Bullard's company Root Nodule Pty Ltd and David Pulsford's company Agricultural Laboratories Pty Ltd. Each company had over 30 years experience in the manufacturing and marketing of Rhizobium/Bradyrhizobium inoculants and the merger created Australia's largest producer of these products. On its formation, the company diversified in biopesticides. It registered the first live genetically engineered biopesticide (NOGALL) in 1988. It has also developed a series of mycoinsecticides based on Metarhizium anisopliae including the products BioGreen and BioCane. The company exports its inoculants around the world and markets them through third parties.

Bio-Care Technology concentrates on R&D, production and formulation of its products. In 1991, the company moved its production to modern facilities in Somersby, New South Wales. It plans to continue evaluating and developing bacterial and fungal control agents and to market them (through third parties) worldwide.
